How Russia's war against Ukraine began:

A day that many Ukrainians and their friends around the world were preparing for, but hoped in their hearts that it would never come. The day the Kremlin started the war in Europe. Ahead are battles, blood, possibly occupation and guerrilla warfare. Ukraine will lose its best sons and daughters, but it will survive. There is no doubt about that. Ukrainians will never again come to terms with life on the short leash of Moscow, this time has passed and will not return. Russian troops are developing an offensive in two directions - in Melitopol and Kherson. Heavy fighting is also taking place near Kharkiv and in the environmental protection zone. This was announced at a briefing on February 24 by a freelance adviser to the head of the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych, Ukrinform reports.
